Your baby’s POV: Attractions and tourist spots worldwide.
Take it back to 2020, and my COVID hobby became travel blogging. I managed to squeeze 42 countries under my belt before falling pregnant with my son. I tied up my proverbial travelling boots and decided to stop writing and sharing my travel on social media. Besides… everyone told me the travelling would stop when I had a baby, right? Righttttttt…..
My son is approaching 1 year old at the time of writing this, and we’ve had the pleasure of travelling with him to Greece, USA (Florida & Texas), Japan, Morocco, France & Türkiye in his first year, whilst still sporting days out at home in the UK. I do however – like all first time parents – turn to Google in search of “can my baby do/have/go to XYZ”. I’ve found myself Googling time and time again for places that are baby appropriate, but equally I have found myself changing nappies, expressing breastmilk and breastfeeding in conspicuous dark corners across the world.

I’ve quickly realised that the world isn’t quite equipped for travelling/ sight seeing new parents. The stark contrast of what I’ve already witnessed in different places (i.e. how baby friendly Japan can be?!) makes you wonder why baby-friendly isnt already the norm. The world is catching up – for sure – but if you like to pre-plan your potential poonami locations, the information isn’t readily available online in most cases.
Thats why I’ve created toddle. If you’re planning to travel with a little one, I hope you can use this site as a quick-reference, reassuring guide to the requirements that babies and toddlers come with. All of the content on this website has been researched by myself, and with every location listed I have personally contacted the place to provide more information.
If you’re having a browse and you’ve visited some of these places, please share your experience with the facilities so we can help others and together build the confidence of new parent travellers! If you’d like to get involved, please send me a message on my contact page.
My top 3 questions:
Are they stroller friendly?
Is there baby changing facilities?
Is there private space for feeding or expressing?
